Day 4/5/6: Back to Mutemwa
The final morning begins with a cooked breakfast after some coffee and tea. Check out is at 08.00am. Please settle any drinks, lost or broken fishing tackle as well as any gratuities you feel you may wish to handover. At 08.00am you will begin your road transfer back to Livingstone Airport* (or wherever you are departing from) where you will connect with your international flights homewards.
The Fishing: What you need know about the Upper Zambezi
Remote, private Upper Zambezi water with numerous islands, rapids, deep channels and flooded structure to fish, Mutemwa is probably best fished in March, April, August, September, November and December. The primary means of fishing here is with lures and spinners and tigers up to 18lbs have been caught. The beauty of Mutemwa is that the distance from Livingstone means the water is private and shared with only one other little campsite so you guaranteed to have the water to yourself. Day trips and overnight combinations with the Sioma Falls really adds variety to the fishing here and all fishing is 2 per boat on superb, large ali boats.
