German visitors enjoy the Zambezi River

During January and February, we received some great feedback from German clients who visited Mutemwa Lodge on the Upper Zambezi River in Zambia. Here are some of the great reviews from them and excerpts from Jorg and Ollie and Chris’s feedback:

JORG BOETTINGER (Munich, Germany) – January 2014: “ Mutemwa Lodge is definitely one of the very few real magical places in this world. Once again I enjoyed outstanding days at the upper Zambesi unbelievably hosted by the Johnson’s family. Mother nature at it’s best… birding, fishing, listening to the quietness, chilling at the boma with great people and good food, and so much more…I definitely will come back as soon as possible – and not just because the many nice fish we caught (and there is a lot  more in those waters) is still there as we released them all. Please say ‘Thank You’,‘Thank You’,‘Thank You’ to Penny & Gavin !”

DRS CHRISTIANE BUURMAN & OLIVER NIGGEMEYER (Hamburg, Germany) – January 2014: “It is now 2 weeks that we are back to Germany (and to work…) but we think back about the wonderful stay we had at Mutemwa with you. After leaving you we had a wonderful time on the houseboat on the Chobe river, spectacular water at the Victoria Falls and great game viewing in the Okavango Delta. But the time with you was outstanding because of your hospitality and because of the way you were running the lodge. We appreciated very much how familiar the stay with you was for us, almost as being on a family holiday. For us, getting to know how life is at Mutemwa was very interesting. This particular sense of familiarity was not only brought to us by you but also by your team: we still remember the good time we had with Francis, our great tigerfish fishing teacher, who took us to his village. Please send him our greetings (and maybe the photo). We wish you all the best for the both of you, your three beautiful daughters and for the future of your wonderful lodge. We hope to see you again, Love and hugs from Germany. Chris & Oliver”
